November 16th World Wide Skywatch Challenge !!!!!!!!

Posted by Kelly Gessner(Luvstars) on September 12, 2013 at 6:30 PM

I would like to challenge our State Director Dale J. Brown and Assistant Director Larry F. Gessner to hold a Skywatch on November 16th for the World Wide Skywatch night.  I think it's time to get together share stories and meet some new people.  Sure it will be cold, but we can handle it. This event  will be great for us Field Investigator's to get together and maybe even have some fun and get other people to want to join our awesome team :)  I feel this event could be what we need to get the word out there about MUFON ND.  I have also talked with two guests that would be willing to come and join us!!!!!!!!! I think the Idea for them to have a Sky Watch in North Dakota in the cold interest them the most.  I of course will do my best to help.  But this one the Two Directors of North Dakota MUFON should do.  I hope you guys except my challenge for our biggest event of the year!!!!!!

Besides who wouldn't want to be out in the middle of no where in the cold and snow watching the sky with a well known man who has been abducted, Steven Piece from the Travis Walton Case.  Also a wonderful friend and Ufologist  Grant Cameron.  I asked Dennis Rano but he is scared of the cold  :).    So if any of you reading this leave a message and see if you would be interested for this event to happen.

So State Director Dale J. Brown and Assistant Director Larry F. Gessner do you except my challenge to put on this event?

Secretary of MUFON of North Dakota

Challenge accepted. The location (preliminarily) will be the south side of "The 40 acres". Firewood already provided by Wal Habib. I will suggest a hot chocolate, hot dog, hot fire kind of night; I will provide the hot dogs to get things started. For the more hardy who may stay to get some sleep in the morning, (we know who we are)we can pitch up a tent or two if the weather is not too foul!

How about it?

Are You in?

Any more (reasonable) suggestions to make this event more memorable? Perhaps some media coverage somehow...???...

Grant Cameron can't make it because of a speaking engagement in Denver that Day :( It still would be fun but I see there is not response from Assistant Director Larry F. Gessner. I hope the guys can plan something :)

Where and what is, "The 40 Acres?"
"The 40 Acres" is a plot of land privately owned just south of the city of Lincoln, North Dakota. It is situated on a prominent ridge line and overlooks the cities of Bismarck, Mandan, and Lincoln with a beautiful view towards the North/Northwest. This property affords a wonderful view of all air traffic in the area; particularly that using the Bismarck, N.D. airport.
