Tackling the improbable and unknown with science

That is the title of a very well done news paper article done on me, North Dakota MUFON, and MUFON in general. It was a full two page spread( Front page and Back) in the McClusky Gazette by Editor Allan Tinker. She really took what I said to heart and covered almost every aspect of what I had told her during the interview. I have sent a copy directly to HQ. This was a great article. Lets hope it generates some interest. Thank you Allan :)

I didn't see the article online yet. Do you know if it will be posted, say in a couple of weeks? Or can you re-post a copy of the article here?

Mrs. Gessner, People are the strangest aliens. Sometimes you think you know someone and they turnout to be so different from you and how you thought you knew them. Good people are sometimes religious, prejudice, and superstitious. Aliens disturb their belief in God. They can't make the jump in their prejudiced mind of believing humans are the only ones in the universe, and superstitious in believing their supernatural God only cares about mankind. A human proverb says, "Great minds discuss ideas, average minds discuss events, small minds discuss people". If see is believing, then what you see in small people will affect your belief in them as well. Remember to forgive their attitudes and feel blessed for what you encountered. For over fifty years I've wanted to see one of these crafts, and am empty not experiencing one. I envy you for your visual testimony is a certainty that transcends all doubts, questions, and speculations about do they exist?

I just read the article and was impressed with Allan Tinker's writing. It is extremely difficult for a reporter to get a lengthy story like this completely accurate. Except for two mistakes, which is still impressive, the article was factual, accurate, and maintained a professional openness. We lay people don't understand how difficult it is to write a journalistic prose. The reporter first listens to the story, at the same time writes down notes, observes the story teller, makes mental notes of the person's character, listens for truth, again doing all of this at the same time. It's not uncommon for reporters to get their facts mixed up doing these tasks all at once. Then the reporter, at a latter time, compiles both the mental and written notes, condense them, and finally makes a story out of it. When I read newspapers, I take these things in mind, because of the old adage, "You can?t believe everything you hear and read," is very true. Yet, I am still impressed with Allan's professionalism , his ability, and his attention to detail. The article is very fair, unbiased, and favorable.
