About Me

I am presently a retired drilling fluids consultant having worked in the Williston Basin in the exploration to find oil. I have a BA in Earth Science having graduating from Minot State University.  I am a life long member of MUFON and a Field Investigator. Although I have never seen an object that I couldn't identify for myself, I still believe in their existence. I believe in building our membership and by  increasing that membership more people will be made aware of our active role in investigating the phenomenon. The entire purpose of MUFON is to help the public accept the evidence of UFO's through the scientific diagostic findings obtained from field investigations.

I can't wait to see what your topic is going to be. If it's really scary please put in bright red. Kelly this will scare you! So I can prepare myself okay :)
Wal, Thank you for the kind words. I was attempting to reply to your condolences in the early morning hours of January 25th when the heart attack struck. I think I had typed " thank you wal," when I felt a sharp pain in my upper back. The thing was I did not associate it with my heart right away nor did I have any other classic heart attack symptoms right away, so I went down stairs and had my daughter walk on my back for a while, thinking that my back had gone out of place!
Needles to say that did not help any and soon I was feeling even worse! Well the classic symptoms soon set in and when I broke into a sweat I then knew for sure!
Not wanting to alarm my daughter too much, I had her call her grandmother to transport me to the hospital. Now her Grandmother is many things, but a fast emergency response driver she is not! I coached her as best I could while lying my seat back to it's fully reclined position. Somehow, in spite of stopping for red lights and not passing any traffic, we made it to the hospital in time for the emergency medical team to save my life.
I had a 100 percent blockage but my heart did not stop beating. I did pass out just after getting help into a wheel chair and regained consciousness as I was entering surgery. I was in fact awake for the entire procedure as a stint was placed without any anesthetics. I was watching my heart on a monitor as they worked on me. Man that hurt like hell !
Two days later they placed two more stints and the day after that I was released to the care of my family.
Anyway, I'm back, I'm getting stronger and I want everyone to treat their bodies well. I won't preach, just tell you that I would not wish what I have gone through to happen to even my worst enemy ( If I had one! ).
We will be moving quickly to put together another meeting for the very near future: Check back often for place and time. :)
Wal, Hey!, Nice to hear some info on you! You have some valuable assets in regards to your education! (And your outlook in general) Have you ever considered becoming a field investigator for MUFON? Earth science knowledge could be your specialty. Crop circles, landing events, trace evidence......think about it ! We could use an individual of your caliber to lend a competent hand ! Call me anytime I'd be more than happy to talk to you about it. At any rate WELCOME !
